Technical Sales & Business Development Manager – Healthcare Industry

Xyntek is seeking entrepreneurial-minded, dedicated and motivated employees that are interested in joining a fast-paced Technical Sales Team.  The ideal candidates will be involved in Business Development and Solutions selling, in various areas of high-end technical consulting and professional turnkey software development, systems integration & automation services within the Healthcare Industry.

Responsibilities:    

  • Account Development and client relationship building
  • Generating new business accounts
  • Qualifying leads
  • Managing databases
  • Managing sales accounts
  • Writing proposals
  • Working directly with clients on the specifications
  • Setting up technical meetings & making presentations
  • Negotiating contracts, terms and closing orders
  • Maintaining client relationships
  • Generating new business
  • Speaking at conferences and shows
  • Taking an active role in local and national professional organizations

Qualifications:    

  • Proven track record of successful solutions selling of consulting services in Information Systems and Automation Technologies and established relationships within the healthcare industry, including hospitals, clinics, patient care facilities, research organizations, diagnostic and medical laboratories, and healthcare IT technology vendors
  • Knowledge and experience with various Healthcare Information Management processes and technologies
  • Bachelors / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, MIS or related IT degrees, Technical Marketing
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience with typical off-the-shelf PC-based software packages such as Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Sales/Client Management Systems (ACT) preferred
